game farm which is part of a larger 1 700 game farm. 160 km from Pretoria near
Marble Hall. Furnished four bedroom house with three bathrooms. Cozy braai and
lapa. Abundant wildlife. Hunting / game viewing vehicle included. Also included:
interest in exotic / rare game breeding program.
Die plaas maak deel uit van ‘n 1 700 ha groter plaas wat saam
toegespan is. 16 eienaars met elk 100 ha het ‘n hele klompie jare terug besluit
om hulle grond saam toe te span en die binnedrade te verwyder. Die plaas bestaan uit 17 x 100 ha plasies. Eenheid 17 word saam
deur die 16 eienaars besit en dit is waar die slag- en koelkamers asook store
gebou is en plaastoerusting geberg word.
Elke eienaar binne die 1 700 ha besit sy eie 100 ha (kaart en transport) en
eie huis op sy 100 ha. Die wild word deur almal saam besit en daar is ‘n
bestuurder en werkers voltyds op die plaas. Die plaas is in ‘n baie goeie
toestand met nuwe ge-elektrifiseerde heinings buite om asook sonpompe vir
water. Water word na tenks op ‘n koppie gepomp en graviteer van daar na
elke huis. Daar is ook 3 spesiale wildskampe op nr 17 gebou waar ons met
nyala’s, swartrooibokke en gouewildebeeste teel.
Die maandelikse heffing is R4 700 wat die water en bestuur van die 1 700 ha plaas insluit. Ons maak ook gebruik van ‘n werker 2 dae per week om die
huis en die omgewing rondom die huis skoon en netjies te hou teen R1 000 p.m.
Die
jagreelings werk as volg: Elke jaar word ‘n kwota opgetrek van hoeveel diere
gejag mag word. Dit word gedoen volgens die vorige jaar se wildtelling en die
kondisie van die veld. Daar word dan markverwante pryse toegeken aan die wild
wat gejag word. Die 16 eienaars het dan eerste opsie om te jag en dan word buite
jagters genader. Daar word ‘n jagtydperk aangekondig waar slegs die jagters
plaas toe mag kom. Gewoontlik hanteer twee van die eienaars die jagreelings in
die tydperk wat gejag word en maak seker alles verloop vlot. Die jaginkomste
word aangewend tot al 16 eienaars se voordeel op die plaas. Daar is slaggeriewe
op die plaas, asook slagters.

Rooibok 300; Koedoe 130; Blesbok 40; Blouwildebeees 80; Gemsbok 6; Volstruis 20;
Rooihartbees 30; Zebra 60; Waterbok 30; Eland 20; Kameelperd 40. Geen
wildteelkampies word toegelaat nie.

This farm forms
part of a 1 700 ha that has been game fenced as a unit. 16 owners each with 100 ha fenced together as one unit plus a 100 ha that
belongs to all of us with the slaughtering- and cooling facilities and farming
equipment. There is also 3 breeding pastures for intensive breeding of expensive
game.
Every owner is full title owner of his own 100 ha. The
game belongs to us all. There is a farm manager and labourers on the farm. The
farm is in pristine condition with new electric fencing and solar pumps in the
boreholes. The water gets pumped into tanks at the top of a hill and from there
gravitates to where needed.
The levy is R4 700 p.m to maintain all farm installations and water supply. We
have our own worker two days a week to clean at R1 000 p.m.
The
hunting works as follows: every year we decide how much animals of what species
must by hunted.
The owners have first option to hunt at market related prices. If all quotas are
not taken up, external hunters may become involved. During hunting operations
only the hunters are allowed in the bush. Mostly two owners overlooks the
hunting expeditions. The income from the hunting is ploughed back into the farm.
There are trackers and skinners on the farm and the necessary slaughtering and
cooling facilities.

Naïewe navrae:
1) Mense met te min geld maar met ambisie of 'n droom: 'n Wildplaas is
nie 'n kommersiële eiendom nie maar 'n "nice to have". Daarom word die pryse
van wildplase nie bereken deur sy
opbrengspotensiaal (landbouwaarde) nie. 'n Wildplaas koop jy kontant of met
'n 40% deposito + 60% verband (daar is uitsonderings) maar die verband word gediens uit 'n ander
bron as die wildplaas self. Jy koop die plaas en dan laat jy hom
werk - dit betaal sy eie uitgawes + maak 'n wins maar nie genoeg om 'n
verband te diens + jou lewenstandaard waaraan jy gewoond is te handhaaf nie.
Met ander woorde jy koop nie 'n wildplaas op skuld en boer dit uit nie. Dus
vra jy nie finansiële state of besettingsyfers, met die bedoeling om te
bereken of jy die plaas kan bekostig, as jy 'n wildplaas koop nie. Die
eskalasie (waardevermeerdering) van 'n wildplaas is gemiddeld 12% per jaar.
2) Mense met te min geld maar ken iemand met geld en probeer dan daardie
iemand oorreed om 'n wildplaas te koop (gewoonlik sodat hy, wat die navraag
doen, dit kan bestuur): Wees net eerlik asseblief. Moenie vir my sê jy's 'n
kontantkoper en dan vind ek later uit dis iemand anders se kontant nie! Wees
openlik - dalk kan ek jou help om jou droom te verwesenlik.
3) Goedkoop oorsese lenings en buitelandse skenkings vir werkskepping en
ekonomiese ontwikkeling (wat gewoonlik 'n besigheidsplan verg) is, in die
wildbedryf, 'n foefie.

Kwaadwillige navrae: Ongelukkig is daar mense
wat niks geld het nie en nooit 'n wildplaas kan bekostig nie, en hulle weet
dit, wat ons probeer
misbruik vir 'n gratis besoek aan 'n wildplaas. As ons u uitvang publiseer

enquiries: We're
gladly prepared to make an effort for you if your money shall only be
available later or if you're still uncertain if you want to buy a game farm
at all - as long as you have the financial ability to buy, now or in future, it's okay with us.
You may be honest about your budget - we handle it confidentially and we
can't inflate prices, it's on the internet!

Naïf
enquiries:
1) People without enough money but with ambition or a dream:
A game farm is not a commercial property but a "nice to have". Therefore the
price of a game farm is not calculated by it's income potential
(agricultural value). You purchase a game farm cash or with a 40% deposit +
60% loan (there are exceptions) but the repayments come from a source other
than the game farm itself. You purchase the
farm and then you make it work - it can cover it's own expenses and make a
profit but not enough to service bond repayments + maintain your standard of
living you're used to. In other words you can't buy a game farm on debt and
farm it out. Therefore you don't ask for financial statements or occupation
figures, with the intent to calculate if you can afford the farm, when
buying a game farm. The escalation (growth in value) of a game farm is 12%
per annum average.
2) People without enough money but who know somebody with money and try to
convince that person to purchase a game farm (usually with the intention to
manage the farm for the owner): Please be honest. Don't tell me you're a
cash buyer and then I find out later that it's somebody else's cash! Be
honest and maybe I can help you to realise your dream.
3) Cheap foreign loans and foreign donations for economic uplifting (that
normally requires a business plan) is, in the game farming industry, a
gimmick.

Malicious enquiries: Unfortunately there are people
who can't and never will be able to afford a game farm, and they
know it, who try to misuse us for a free visit to a game farm. If we
catch you out we name and shame you with your name and identity number on
the internet for the whole world to see (see our section for estate agents).
Commission
-
An agent gets
paid for success. Don't tell me I didn't didn't spend much time on this
transaction - you

amount of commission is in accordance with the industry guidelines and is
payable by seller (although purchaser subsidises it).

Our
commission is earned the moment we find a buyer who is willing and able to
buy at seller's minimum terms.
Signature of a contract is the next step and if seller suddenly
refuses to proceed with the transaction the commission becomes due and
payable immediately.
Otherwise the commission is payable at registration of transfer (in exceptional
circumstances it can be payable earlier, for example when it is a downpayment
